  1. 1. Reversibla 2+1-fält på motortrafikled Utvärdering av restidseffekter för Värmdöpendlare : Utvärdering av restidseffekter för Värmdöpendlare

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Transportplanering

    Författare :JOSEFIN JOHANSSON; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Reversible lane; reversible bus lane; contraflow lane; tidal flow lane; VISSIM; traffic analysis; weaving behavior;

    Sammanfattning : Värmdö is a commuter municipality to Stockholm. Road 222 between Värmdö and Stockholm is the main commuter route for both bus and car traffic. Road 222 is a bottleneck at Farstabron in the direction towards Värmdö, where the motorway will go from two to one lane and become a non-meeting motorway. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Re-recognition of vehicles for enhanced insights on road traffic

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)

    Författare :Aron Asefaw; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Re-recognition; Computer Vision; LoFTR; Keypoints; SIFT; Transformers; Machine Learning; Homogrpahy; Deep Learning; SVM;

    Sammanfattning : This study investigates the performance of two keypoint detection algorithms, SIFTand LoFTR, for vehicle re-recognition on a 2+1 road in Täby, utilizing three differentmethods: proportion of matches, ”gates” based on the values of the features andSupport Vector Machines (SVM). Data was collected from four strategically placedcameras, with a subset of the data manually annotated and divided into training,validation, and testing sets to minimize overfitting and ensure generalization. 3. 3. Kan SUMO användas för simulering av 2+1-vägar?

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för systemteknik

    Författare :Ella Calais; Filip Kristofersson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :2 1-vägar; SUMO; RuTSim; trafiksimulering; förarbeteende; trafikföring;

    Sammanfattning : Traffic simulation is a growing research field which enables study and evaluation of the dynamics of a traffic system with the help of today’s various traffic simulation models. Rural roads with separated oncoming lanes and alternating lanes for overtaking, so-called 2+1 roads, are becoming increasingly common in Sweden due to its positive safety effects. LÄS MER

  4. 4. A Study of Traffic Capacity with Regards to Heavy vehicle Share and Level of Service through Microsimulation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Transportplanering

    Författare :Johan Rickardsson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :capacity; heavy vehicle share; level of service; 2 1-road; simulation; micro simulation; highway capacity; TransModeler; kapacitet; lastbilsandel; belastningsgrad; mötesfri väg; simulering; mikrosimulering; motorväg; effektsamband; TransModeler; 2 1-väg; mötesfri motortrafikled; mötesfri landsväg;

    Sammanfattning : The 2+1-road is a specific three lane road which aims to increase the safety of the predecessor 13 meter wide four lane roads. As a lane is removed and a weaving section is introduced the capacity is severely lowered, sometimes halved. LÄS MER

  5. 5. LCC analys av 2+1- och 2+2-vägar : -arbetsmiljö och samhällskostnader

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronik

    Författare :Evelina Ådahl; Jesper Lakso; [2020]
    Nyckelord :LCC; arbetsmiljö; samhällskostnader; anläggning; vägar; drift; underhåll;

    Sammanfattning : We have been traveling on roads for hundreds of years and the development during those years has led to safer roads. Barriers between the two traffic lanes have been one of the most important measures to prevent cross-median collisions. LÄS MER
