1. Using Machine Learning to Optimize Near-Earth Object Sighting Data at the Golden Ears Observatory
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : This research project focuses on improving Near-Earth Object (NEO) detection using advanced machine learning techniques, particularly Vision Transformers (ViTs). The study addresses challenges such as noise, limited data, and class imbalance. LÄS MER
3. Modelling Ganymede’s Aurora
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : A 3D model of Ganymede’s aurora is created using captured data from the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS), on board the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). The data is processed into 24 images and analyzed. A 3D grid is generated around the moon to implement a functional model to describe the aurora. LÄS MER
4. Machined surfaces as designed cell culture substrates
5. Volume Calculation Based on LiDAR Data
Master-uppsats, KTH/Fastigheter och byggandeSammanfattning : In this thesis project, the main objective is to compare and evaluate different surveying methodsfor volume determination; Photogrammetry, Terrestrial Laser Scanning(TLS) and Aerial LaserScanning (ALS) based on time consumption, efficiency and safety in the mining industry. In addition,a volumetric computational method based on coordinates would be formulated to estimatethe volume of stockpiles using lidar data captured with a laser scanner. LÄS MER
