  1. 11. Green Prescribing: Communities of Boundary Practice in Transectoral Collaboration. An Actor-Oriented Approach to Environmental and Public Health Intervention.

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Internationella miljöinstitutet

    Författare :Naomi Willows Rough; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Green Prescribing; Transectoral; Communities of Boundary Practice; Boundaries; Co-Benefits; Science General;

    Sammanfattning : Green prescribing, the referral of patients to nature-based activities, has potential to bring co- benefits for psychological and physiological public health and for environmental health. Literature considers a major limitation to its effective implementation as a holistic, transectoral practice to be lack of a common language and tendency of actors involved to work within their respective paradigms, resulting in silo working and minimising realisation of potential co- benefits. 2. 12. The IPO Process as a Hybrid Temporary Organization - Coordinating common ground between the firm, investment bank and legal adviser through cross-boundary mechanisms

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Linus Liljeqvist; Simon B. Lindbo; [2020-06-24]
    Nyckelord :IPO process; hybrid temporary organization; cross-boundary coordination; common ground for knowledge sharing; display and representation practices; clear role structure; firm; investment bank; legal adviser;

    Sammanfattning : The initial public offering (IPO) of a firm is a complex process including an intricate network of actors that assure the publishing of firms and stock emittance. This paper explores the IPO process as a temporary organization and through 29 interviews with experienced IPO actors, create an empirical map that is divided into three phases and two workstreams. 3. 13. Thermomechanical stress analysis of the main insulation system of traction electrical machines

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för maskinteknik

    Författare :Dahman Ismail; Alexis Andrei; [2020]
    Nyckelord :finite element analysis; thermo-mechanical stress; heavy-duty vehicle; electrical machine; insulation system; coupled-temperature displacement analysis; finita element analys; termomekaniska spänningar; lastbilar; elektriska motorer; isolering; termisk kopplingsförbindelse;

    Sammanfattning : More efficiency heavy-duty vehicles are developed with higher range, updated electronic and mechanical parts. The fuel efficiency and pollution of carbon dioxide need to be lower to achieve new EU regulations. The global population increases with an increased number of heavy-duty vehicles. This, in turn, increases the emission. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Pushing the boundary of Semantic Image Segmentation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Shipra Jain; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Deep Learning; computer vision; semantic segmentation; metric learning; contrastive learning; Djup lärning; datorsyn; semantisk segmentering; metrisk inlärning; kontrastivt lärande;

    Sammanfattning : The state-of-the-art object detection and image classification methods can perform impressively on more than 9k classes. In contrast, the number of classes in semantic segmentation datasets are fairly limited. This is not surprising , when the restrictions caused by the lack of labeled data and high computation demand are considered. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Responses to President Trump's rumoured executive order on research publication policy : Tracing stakeholder relationships positioned against USA Open Access policy developments

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för bibliotek, information, pedagogik och IT

    Författare :Martin Colclough; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Open access; Scholarly communication; Boundary objects; Twitter; Trump;

    Sammanfattning : This study examines stakeholder relationships in the context of rumours of a forthcoming American Open Access mandate which surfaced in December 2019. Empirical material was gathered through the social media network Twitter, and through a data collection exercise of article-length documents on the subject. LÄS MER
