  1. 1. Lär dig rädda liv : En studie i hur instruktionsmaterial för hjärt- och lungräddning kan bidra till en ökad kunskap och trygghet i utförandet av HLR.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för innovation, design och teknik

    Författare :Lova Andersson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Informationsdesign; Illustration; Instruktionsmaterial; Kognition; Normkritiskt perspektiv; Användarperspektiv; Human centered design; HCD; Hjärt och lungräddning; HLR; Plötsligt hjärtstopp;

    Sammanfattning : This study is a bachelor thesis within Informationdesign with a focus oninformative illustration. The work explores how it is possible to create aninstructional material for CPR using visual means in cognition and through anorm-critical perspective. LÄS MER

  2. 2. A study on how a dashboard for energy data visualisations can be designed to be usable and inspire pro-environmental behaviour in an industry setting

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Sofie Drugge Eneroth; Alice Elkjaer; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Usability; learnability; subjective satisfaction; behavioural change; energy data visualisations; HCD; eco-feedback; personas; prototyping;

    Sammanfattning : An essential part of combating climate change is to reduce energy consumption. As the industrial sector was accountable for approximately a third of the total global carbon dioxide equivalents in 2019, it is crucial for industries to manage their energy usage. LÄS MER

  3. 3. 2D or not 2D: Assessing environmental awareness and cognitive load in mixed reality data visualizations : Visualizing gas leak data visualizations for an industrial surveying setting

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Julia Schwuchow; [2023]
    Nyckelord :environmental awareness; cognitive load; information visualization; mixed reality; sustainable HCI; miljomedvetenhet; kognitiv belastning; informationsvisualisering; mixad ¨ verklighet; hallbar MDI;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing the environmental awareness of invisible data, such as a city’s air pollution or a household’s energy consumption, has been an ongoing information visualization challenge that has entered the fields of immersive technologies like augmented (AR) and mixed reality (MR). In order to understand how form and dimensional affect this understanding for MR environments, this research investigated what the difference between statistical, iconographic 2D and physical 3D visualizations is with regards to minimizing cognitive load and fostering environmental awareness. 4. 4. Att skapa historia

    Kandidat-uppsats, Malmö universitet/Institutionen för konst, kultur och kommunikation (K3)

    Författare :Martina Villegas Bengtsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : History making is a research based project within the area of product design. It aimed to answer the question: How can oral history be preserved and displayed using product design? The purpose of preserving and displaying oral history is to contribute to the right of one's own history, as well as expanding the different perspectives of historical events that are otherwise dismissed. 5. 5. Participatory Speculative Design : Exploring Ownership-Level of Engagement in Co-Designing Meeting Spaces in Swedish Public Sector Offices

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för innovation, design och teknik

    Författare :ANDREJA SARIC; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Participatory speculative design PSD ; Participatory action research PAR ; Participants’ engagement level; Meeting place design;

    Sammanfattning : The involvement of end users in the design process is gaining popularity, particularly through human-centred design (HCD). This case study addresses two practical issues: the lack of engagement of Swedish public sector office workers in designing their workspaces and the need to prioritize user needs in new meeting places.
