  1. 21. Studying building behaviors by using the Building Management System of a new teaching building : A study case of a school building in Stockholm

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbara byggnader

    Författare :Kaiying Zhang; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Building management system BMS ; building envelope; indoor climate; thermal comfort; energy performance;

    Sammanfattning : Building management system (BMS) offers a wide range of measurements and historical data about the building but few types of researches use these data to analyze the building performance. This study aims to explore the indoor climate and building insulation by taking advantage of the BMS of the study case, which 767 sensors are installed in the room and wall structures and the signal data are available at the online web application. 2. 22. Energy efficiency in glass buildings : A study about the energy efficiency of glass buildings in Stockholm and how related demands are met

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Eivind Myklebust Støvne; Isak Søgaard Vallinder; [2020]
    Nyckelord :U-factor; Um-factor; energy efficiency; primary energy coefficient; energy certificate; Swedish building legislation; BBR; glass buildings; U-värde; Um-värde; energieffektivitet; Primärenergital; energideklaration; Svenska byggregler; BBR; glasbyggnad; glashus;

    Sammanfattning : The building and property sector stands for one third of the final energy usage in Sweden and this should be diminished, in order to reach goals within environmental sustainability. Glass is a poor thermal insulator but nevertheless a popular choice of material when constructing new buildings. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Critical thermal minimum of the embryonic development in the common frog (Rana temporaria)

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Ecology

    Författare :Pontus Eriksson; [2019]
    Nyckelord :development; Rana temporaria; Anura; critical thermal minimum; embryonic; temperature; degree-days; day; degrees; Oophila; common frog; Ranidae; amphibian; algae;

    Sammanfattning : The embryonic development of anurans is known to be temperature-dependent and well-studied. Oviposition of Rana temporaria (common frog) in the northern temperate climate zone occurs as soon as the ice melts on water bodies. This early oviposition can take place in waters below 5 °C. 4. 24. Fukt- och temperaturrörelser i fasad- och vindskyddsskivor

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Byggnadsmaterial

    Författare :Anton Jönsson; Daniel Remnetorp; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Fibercementskiva; cementbunden fiberskiva; oorganisk kompositgipsskiva; gipsskiva; kalciumsilikatskiva; cementspånskiva; längdutvidgningskoefficient; krympning; svällning; töjning; sorption; sorptionsisoterm; relativ fuktighet; klimatbox Fibre cement board; cement particle board; inorganic composite gypsum board; calcium silicate board; coefficient of thermal expansion; swelling; shrinkage; strain; isotherm; moisture content; relative humidity; climate box; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Användningen av fasad- och vindskyddsskivor i ytterväggskonstruktioner är i dag utbredd. Skivorna är monterade långt ut i ytterväggen och utsätts således för variationer i omgivande relativ fuktighet och temperatur. På senare tid har skador såsom buktning av skivorna och sprickbildning hos skivorna uppmärksammats. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Indoor Air Pollution, Passive Ventilation Strategies and Thermal Comfort in Nepal

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö

    Författare :Marianne Löwgren; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Energy poverty; Solid biomass fuels; Improved cooking stoves; Indoor air pollution; Carbon monoxide; Vernacular architecture; Passive ventilation; Air exchange rate; Indoor air quality; Thermal comfort; Operative temperature; Sustainable societal development; Social Sciences; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Indoor Air Pollution (IAP) resulting from indoor burning of solid biomass fuels in poorly ventilated kitchens is a severe health risk in parts of the world where energy poverty is prevalent. Passive ventilation, i.e. taking advantage of naturally induced airflow has been suggested as crucial in reducing IAP levels below safe limits. LÄS MER
