  1. 1. Federated Emotion Recognition with Physiological Signals- GSR

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Tara Hassani; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Emotion Recognition; Physiological Signals; GSR; Privacy; Machine Learning; Federated Learning.;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Human-computer interaction (HCI) is one of the daily triggering emotional events in today’s world and researchers in this area have been exploring different techniques to enhance emotional ability in computers. Due to privacy concerns and the laboratory's limited capability for gathering data from a large number of users, common machine learning techniques that are extensively used in emotion recognition tasks lack adequate data collection. 2. 2. Exploring a simplified affective state test in the red junglefowl

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologi

    Författare :Alessandra Munari; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Affective state; animal welfare; chicken; eyespot; Gallus gallus; judgement bias; optimism; pessimism;

    Sammanfattning : Affective states of animals are emotions with positive or negative valance. Positive and negative affective states affect animal welfare, and can bias interpretation of information positively or negatively, respectively. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Using gallium nitride nanowires as STM probes

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Karolis Sulinskas; [2018]
    Nyckelord :STM; STS; Nanowire; GaN; InAs; Semiconductors; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Gallium nitride (GaN) nanowires grown using catalyst-free metal organic vapor phase epitaxy were used as scanning tunneling microscope (STM) probes. The probes were prepared by placing a GaN nanowire on a tungsten STM probe using a nanomanipulator in a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and welding them together using an electron beam induced platinum deposition. 4. 4. Challenging the dual coding theory : Does Affective Information Play a Greater Role in Abstract Compared to Concrete Word Processing?

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för biovetenskap

    Författare :Ingrid Almgren; [2018]
    Nyckelord :abstract word-processing; DCT; ERP; semantic representation; concreteness effect; imageability; recognition task; categorization; emotional valence;

    Sammanfattning : It has long been held that concrete material has a processing advantage over abstract material, as predicted by Dual Coding Theory (Paivio,1991), although this has been challenged. For example, based on evidence for behavioural and neuroscientific studies, Kousta,, Vigliocco, Vinson, & Del Campo, (2011) proposed that emotional valance had a greater influence in the processing of abstract words, and that under some circumstances there may be no concreteness effect and might even be an abstractness effect. 5. 5. Det autobiografiska minnet relaterat till alkohol- drog missbruk

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Psykologi

    Författare :Sara Hellberg; [2017]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka livsmålen genom ett autobiografiskt minnesperspektiv hos personer med missbruksproblematik, som deltog i en pågående behandling och som hade genomgått en avgiftning. De var drog- alkoholfria. LÄS MER
