1. Phase Unwrapping MRI Flow Measurements
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen Vi3Sammanfattning : Magnetic resonance images (MRI) are acquired by sampling the current of induced electromotiveforce (EMF). EMF is induced due to flux of the net magnetic field from coherent nuclear spins with intrinsic magnetic dipole moments. LÄS MER
2. Reconstruction of Accelerated Cardiovascular MRI data
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Statistik och maskininlärningSammanfattning : Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), is a noninvasive medical imaging testing techniquewhich is used to produce detailed images of internal structure of the human body, includingbones, muscles, organs, and blood vessels. MRI scanners use large magnets and radiowaves to create images of the body. LÄS MER
3. Deep learning for temporal super-resolution of 4D Flow MRI
Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)Sammanfattning : The accurate assessment of hemodynamics and its parameters play an important role when diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. In this context, 4D Flow Magnetic Resonance Imaging (4D Flow MRI) is a non-invasive measurement technique that facilitates hemodynamic parameter assessment as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis of three-directional flow over time. 4. The value of cardiac MRI texture analysis in patients with clinically suspected myocarditis
Master-uppsats,Sammanfattning : Purpose: The aim of this proof-of-concept study was to assess the diagnostic value of texture analysis (TA) based on conventional balanced steady-state-free precession (bSSFP), late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) and T2-weighted cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) in patients with clinically suspected myocarditis. Method: A retrospective cohort study was performed based on 30 patients who underwent a comprehensive CMRI due to clinically suspected myocarditis between 2013 and 2018 at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital: 10 patients with clinical signs and positive myocardial biomarkers (Troponin T, indicating myocardial injury) as well as positive CMRI findings according to Lake Louise Criteria (LLC; group 1), 10 patients with clinical signs and positive myocardial biomarkers but negative CMRI findings according to LLC (group 2), and 10 patients with clinical signs but both negative myocardial biomarkers as well as CMRI findings according to LLC (control group). 5. Automatic Left Ventricle Segmentation of Long-Axis Cardiac MRI-Images
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTHSammanfattning : Over 30 % of all deaths worldwide are related to cardiovascular diseases and they are the leading cause of death. Therefore, research into treatment, diagnosis and prognostication of these diseases are of critical importance. One way to examine the cardiovascular system is through the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). LÄS MER
