  1. 6. Come Fly with Me (Sustainably) : Pathways to Sustainable General Aviation and Private Pilot Training

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Miljövetenskap

    Författare :Michael Stiebe; [2022]
    Nyckelord :General Aviation; Sustainable Aviation; Sustainable Development; Electric Aviation; Noise Pollution; Leaded Fuel; AVGAS 100LL; Tetraethyl Lead Phaseout; Pilot Training; Recreational Aviation; Switzerland;

    Sammanfattning : Whereas commercial aviation is attempting to achieve the reduction of its substantial carbon footprint, general aviation’s (GA) climate change contribution is negligibly small, which is why the sector is facing other sustainability challenges mainly entailing the operation of dated technology and aircraft, increasing regulatory constraints, rising costs, noise emissions, and popular discontent, as well as remaining the last mobility sector in the world to still use leaded fuels. Throughout recent years, there have been remarkable sustainability trends in GA as well as heightened efforts to improve its emissions profile (noise, pollutants, CO2) and environmental reputation, for instance by the increased use of electric aircraft, especially for private pilot training. 2. 7. Affärsmöjligheter för V2G : Vardagens elbilar som en flexibilitetstjänst för elnätet

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Sabina Kabir; Karin Sjöberg; Matilda Östling; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Den allt större andelen förnyelsebar energi i dagens energisystem i samband med det accelererade energibehovet bidrar tillsammans till ett växande flexibilitetsbehov. En form av flexibilitet som utvecklats under de senaste åren, och som ännu bara befinner sig i ett pilotstadie, är vehicle to grid, V2G, vilket är en teknik för att utnyttja elbilar som energilager för elnätet. 3. 8. Exploring the possibilities for MaaS in the everyday mobility - A qualitative study of pilot projects in different phases

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Gabriel Bredstenslien Johansson; [2021-07-07]
    Nyckelord :Mobility as a Service; MaaS; Business modelling; Business model design; Business model development; Business model innovation;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this research is to identify how MaaS solutions can be designed to have a greater impact on everyday mobility. This research contributes by identifying existing barriers for present projects in all of their phases as well as expressing possible solutions moving beyond them, based on state-of-art business model theory. 4. 9. Evaluation and performance comparison between two commercial multiplex gastroenteritis diagnostic systems in a routine laboratory setting

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för medicinsk biokemi och mikrobiologi

    Författare :Nasim Estelle Rabe; [2021]
    Nyckelord :BD MAXTM System; BioFire® FilmArray® Torch System; Adenovirus F40 41; Human Astrovirus; Norovirus GI GII; Rotavirus; Sapovirus.;

    Sammanfattning : Abstract Background: Gastroenteritis is a common infection and the leading cause of morbidity worldwide and is mostly caused by viruses. Outbreaks appear in both developed and developing countries and result in large economic costs. Rapid detection is important for appropriate treatment, control and to prevent the spread of infection. 5. 10. How do different ingredients affect the fermentation time and structure of plant-based yoghurt-like products?

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)

    Författare :Nicki Holmgran; Jens Svendsen; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Food Engineering; Livsmedelsteknik; plant-based; yoghurt; oat; pea; chickpea; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The market of plant based dairy alternatives such as yoghurt alternatives continues to grow as more information on the environmental impact of traditional dairy products become available. The plant-based yoghurt alternatives come with a new set of problems, including longer fermentation times and poor gel structure formation. LÄS MER
