1. 3D modelling and resistivity measurements for hydrogeological assessments in the northern part of Vombsänkan
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : The geology of Vombsänkan is characterized by a complex sequence of Quaternary deposits overlying the Paleozoic sedimentary bedrock. The area is 759 km2 and has recorded several ice advances followed by glacial retreats and ice melting. LÄS MER
2. Optimal dead space in axial-type expander
Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)Sammanfattning : In this thesis a method for determining optimal dead space in an axial-type expander is developed. The axial-type expander in question is for use in a steam engine, a environmental friendly and fuel-agnostic alternative to the ICE-engine. LÄS MER
3. “My skin has turned from ivory, to porcelain, to steel.” : En intermedial analys av sambandet mellan marknadens efterfrågan och förändringar i adaptioner.
Magister-uppsats, Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för humaniora och samhällsvetenskapSammanfattning : The point of this essay was to conduct research on the market and the consumers influence over the cultural industry in regard to adaptations. The paper analyses some of the changes that can be done by the producers in order to please the consumer, and therefore increase the popularity among the viewers. LÄS MER
4. A re-investigation of hummocky moraine formed from ice sheet decay using geomorphological and sedimentological evidence in the Vomb area, southern Sweden
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : Glacial sediment-landform assemblages have long been used to reconstruct the dynamics of ice sheets throughout the Quaternary time period, particularly so for the period of the last glaciation in northern Europe and southern Scandinavia. One such sediment-landform assemblage is hummocky moraine, which has previously been used as an all-encompassing descriptive terminology strongly associated with dead ice meltout and passive deglaciation. 5. Impactites from the Hiawatha crater, North-West Greenland
Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för geologiska vetenskaperSammanfattning : The recent discovery of the 31-km-wide Hiawatha impact crater has raised unanswered questions about its age, impactor and highly unusual organic carbon component. Previous research suggests a fractionated iron meteorite impactor, a probable maximum 3–2.4 Ma impact age and a possible Younger Dryas impact age. LÄS MER
