11. Error propagation in nuclear models
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : In this thesis we perform error analysis of a nuclear model based on density-functional theory developed in Lund. The Lund model allows us to perform calculations of nuclear spectra more efficiently by constructing a simple effective Hamiltonian reproducing the quadrupole deformation and pairing interaction strength parameters of a spherical Hartree-Fock reference functional. 12. Adaptive Control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for a Robotic Arm under Variable Load
Master-uppsats, KTH/Mekatronik och inbyggda styrsystemSammanfattning : The implementation of automated systems in manufacturing industries increases efficiency, precision, and safety by reducing human intervention, errors, and waste. Variable loads can cause several problems for automation systems. LÄS MER
13. Towards a Data-Driven Football Playbook
Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystemSammanfattning : At a competitive level, football teams often have multiple matches per week. Thus, time can be a limited resource for match analysts tasked with analysing the performance of their team and its opponents. Increased availability of data in the field offers possibilities to automate processes to save time. LÄS MER
14. Unsupervised Anomaly Detection in Multivariate Time Series Using Variational Autoencoders
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTHSammanfattning : In this master’s thesis, a novel unsupervised anomaly detection tool was developed in collaboration with Sandvik Rock Processing to assist engineers and experts in analyzing large amounts of sensor data from cone crushers used in the stone crushing industry. The tool focuses on analyzing power, pressure, and CSS sensor data. LÄS MER
15. Investigation of the mean photon energy in Kompaneets spectra
Master-uppsats, KTH/FysikSammanfattning : The Kompaneets equation describes the spectrum formation when hot fermions are injected into an opaque fermion-photon plasma in thermal equilibrium and inverse Compton-scatterings occur. The equation has three free parameters, the initial plasma thermal energy θ_u, the final plasmathermal energy θ_r and the average photon energy gain y_r. LÄS MER
