    Nyckelord :Adaptive; Closed Loop; Neuromodulation; Parkinson’s Disease; Rat model; 6-OHDA; ITC; Phase Coherence; Bayesian Model; Classifier; Spinal Cord Stimulation; Deep Brain Stimulation.; Adaptiv; Closed Loop; Neuromodulation; Parkinson’s Sjukdom; Råttmodell; 6-OHDA; ITC; Faskoherens; Bayesiansk Modell; Klassificerare; Ryggradsstimulering; Djup Hjärnstimulering.;

    Sammanfattning : Neuromodulation, such as spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and deep brain stimulation (DBS), has been shown to modulate pathophysiological brain activity and provide symptomatic therapy for several neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease. The effectiveness of this therapy could likely be further improved by neuromodulation that is adaptive, delivering stimulation more selectively, by monitoring a biomarker in recorded brain signals, which indicates the presence of a pathological state. 3. 13. Exploring persistent homology as a method for capturing functional connectivity differences in Parkinson’s Disease.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)

    Författare :Naomi Hulst; [2022]
    Nyckelord :persistent homology; topological data analysis; computational topology; parkinson s disease; parkinson; functional connectivity; stable rank; ihållande homologi; topologisk data analys; beräknings topologi; Parkinsons sjukdom; parkinson; funktionell konnektivitet; stable ranks;

    Sammanfattning : Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is the fastest growing neurodegenerative disease, currently affecting two to three percent of the population over 65. Studying functional connectivity (FC) in PD patients may provide new insights into how the disease alters brain organization in different subjects. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sambandet mellan fysisk aktivitetsnivå, depressiva symtom och funktionshinder hos personer med Parkinsons sjukdom. Därtill kartlägga fysisk aktivitetsnivå, depressiva symtom samt funktionshinder bland personer med Parkinsons. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Competition between Phase Separation and Micellization in a Coarse-Grained Protein Model with Two Components

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Beräkningsbiologi och biologisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Fangxuan Lyu; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are widely believed to play a key role in the for- mation of intracellular biomolecular condensates through liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS). Furthermore, it has been shown in vitro that several IDPs are able to phase sepa- rate on their own. LÄS MER
