    Sammanfattning : What impact does the conversation between citizen, market and governance have on inherent meaning in cultural heritage? How does it manifest and unfold concerning values it presents in the given context of Slussen´s preservation and reconstruction? As cultural beings, what significance does these values have on democracy? The aim of this studie is to measure how the concept of cultural heritage is negotiated and established by the city of Stockholm, Skanska Sweden and relating practitioners towards the significance of democracy.     Sammanfattning : By exploring the relationship between rituals and human behavior in relationship to architectural design the project "A Sense of Russia" searches for answers to new ways of sharing and experiencing culture over national boundaries, creating a stronger and clearer insight by physically engaging the visitor to be part of the other and the yet unknown.
