1. Distribution of Sabellidites (Annelida?) in the Basal Cambrian of the Digermulen Peninsula, Arctic Norway
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The Digermulen Peninsula, Arctic Norway, offers a unique section of late Ediacaran to Cambrian sediments in an almost complete succession within the Vestertana Group. The proposed annelidan fossil Sabellidites cambriensis is found here, within the Lower Breidvika Member and is believed to exist also in the underlying Manndrapselva Member of the Stáhpogieddi Formation. 2. De mellankambriska oelandicuslagren på Öland : stratigrafi och faciestyper
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : The thesis deals with a drill core retrieved from northern Öland, Sweden, in 2010. The length of the core is c. 107 m and comprises an Ordovician and Cambrian succession. The middle Cambrian primarily consists of fossiliferous mudstone with thin siltstone beds. LÄS MER
3. Palaeoenvironments of the Earliest (Middle Devonian) Tetrapod Trackways from the Holy Cross Mountains, Poland; Locomotion in a Terrestrial Setting?
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The palaeoenvironment from which early tetrapods emerged is crucial to comprehend in order to understand the mechanisms that drove and allowed the terrestrialization of vertebrates; one of the most important evolutionary ‘events’ in the history of animals. Nevertheless, much of the terrestrialization is shrouded in obscurity, inter alia, due to scarcity of early tetrapods in the fossil record. LÄS MER
4. Krossbergskvalitet och petrografi i den kambriska Hardebergasandstenen i Skåne
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : The Lower Cambrian Hardeberga Sandstone Formation of Scania, southern Sweden, consists of a basal arkosic sandstone unit, overlain by three vertically stacked, shallowing-upward sequences. These three sequences consist predominantly of light grey or whitish, quartz-arenitic sandstones deposited in shallow marine environments. LÄS MER
5. Trace fossils from the Permian of western Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionenSammanfattning : Non-marine trace fossils from the Permian of Antarctica are systematically described and possible depositional environments are discussed. The studied material derives from sedimentary sequences consisting mainly of sandstone and shale at Vestfjella and Kirwanveggen, western Dronning Maud Land. LÄS MER
