  1. 1. VATTENLEVANDE FÅGLARS PÅVERKAN PÅ VEGETATIONEN I GRUNDA HAVSMILJÖER : FJÄRRANALYS SOM VERKTYG FÖR ATT IDENTIFIERA BETNINGSMÖNSTER

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskap

    Författare :Vanessa Gerland Fontana; [2023]
    Nyckelord :waterfowl; submerged aquatic vegetation; grazing; lagoon; remote sensing. ; vattenlevande fåglar; undervattensvegetation; betning; havsvik; fjärranalys.;

    Sammanfattning : Submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) is an important source of food for waterfowl. Effects of waterfowl grazing on SAV has foremost been studied in freshwater and agricultural ecosystems. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Impact of southern Baltic sea-level changes on landscape development in the Verkeån River valley at Haväng, southern Sweden, during the early and mid Holocene

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Anette Nilsson Brunlid; [2018]
    Nyckelord :sea-level change; Littorina Sea; Baltic Sea; Ancylus Lake; environmental reconstruction; Holocene; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : In the Hanö bay off the coast at Haväng in SE Scania, southern Sweden, a submerged and well-preserved Mesolithic landscape is found, including remains of trees, river and lagoon sediments, and archaeological artefacts such as an antler pick axe and stationary fishing constructions. The landscape was formed during the Yoldia Sea (11,700-10,800 cal BP) and Initial Littorina Sea (9800-8500) low-water phases of the Baltic Basin. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Benthic mapping of the Bluefields Bay fish sanctuary, Jamaica

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Karen Mcintyre; [2015]
    Nyckelord :remote sensing; image classification; GIS; acoustic survey; benthic habitat mapping; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Small island states, such as those in the Caribbean, are dependent on the nearshore marine ecosystem complex and its resources; the goods and services provided by seagrass and coral reef for example, are particularly indispensable to the tourism and fishing industries. In recognition of their valuable contributions and in an effort to promote sustainable use of marine resources, some nearshore areas have been designated as fish sanctuaries, as well as marine parks and protected areas. 4. 4. Lokala skillnader i konsumtion av påväxtalger och terrestra löv hos en differentierad population av Asellus aquaticus

    Kandidat-uppsats, Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologi; Tekniska högskolan

    Författare :Emma Jansson; [2013]
    Nyckelord :Asellus aquaticus; consumption; detritus; periphyton; eco-evolution;

    Sammanfattning : That ecological and evolutionary processes can take place on the same time scale is a recent insight. Today we also know that they are directly linked to each other. In the lake Tåkern, in year 2000, there was a structural change when phytoplankton declined and submerged vegetation, mainly stoneworts began to spread. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Påverkan av tillskott av död ved och reducerat evertebratnedfall på öringens (Salmo trutta L.) diet i en skogsbäck

    Magister-uppsats, Fakulteten för samhälls- och livsvetenskaper

    Författare :David Zetterqvist; [2008]
    Nyckelord :brown trout; Salmo trutta; diet; woody debris; invertebrate input; forest stream; öring; Salmo trutta; diet; död ved; evertebratnedfall; skogsbäck;

    Sammanfattning : Det svenska skogsbruket har lett till minskade vedmängder i skogsbäckarna. Detta kan undvikas genom att orörda kantzoner lämnas. Kantzonsvegetatioen har även visats påverka nedfallet av terrestra evertebrater, vilket visats minska andelen terrestra evertebrater i laxfiskars diet. Ofta lämnas dock inga kantzoner. LÄS MER
