1. Modelling the Water Table in a Bog
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Over the past five years, an ongoing study at INES, Lund University, have examined the encroachment of trees and vegetation into a bog ecosystem in northern Scania, Sweden. While several factors have been identified as contributing to this ecological transformation, including, nutrient availability, and climate, the hydrological aspect remains a key area of investigation. 2. Comparative Analysis of On-site vs Off-site green-Hydrogen Value Chain Scenarios to cover projected Aviation demand : A case for Toulouse Blagnac Airport in France
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : Amidst the efforts to mitigate the energy-related carbon emissions of human activities and pursuing a net-zero future by 2050, the aviation sector, as part of a wider group of hard-to-decarbonize sectors is responsible for 12% of all the transportation emissions globally. Green Hydrogen as a zero-emissions alternative fuel from water and renewable energy serves as a prime candidate to replace conventional aviation fuels and lead the way towards carbon-free flights. 3. Mapping and analysis of an internal heating network at Holmen Paper Braviken
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/EnergisystemSammanfattning : The pulp and paper industry is the most energy intensive industry in Sweden. Most of the energy usedaims to supply the large amount of heat to the production processes that is required to produce pulp andpaper . LÄS MER
4. Reprocessing and Characterization of Polybenzimidazole for High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : A reprocessing method of poly(2,2’-(m-phenylene)-5,5’-bibenzimidazole) (PBI) membranes recovered from the production line of High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFC) at Blue World Technologies (BWT) has been developed in order to reduce material loss in the production. Redissolution of scrap PBI membranes in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) and phosphoric acid (PA) was successful and the subsequent washing procedure produced PBI that could be redissolved in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) and suitable for solution casting of new membranes. 5. Pre-study for SMR and Nuclear Establishment in Norway
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaperSammanfattning : Norway has Europe’s highest share of renewable electricity production and the lowest power sector emissions. Thanks to the country’s stable power production, Norway has affordable and stable access to electricity, leading to industries choosing to relocate to the country. LÄS MER
