Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Tumba äldreboende

Sammanfattning: This report aims to evaluate the personal safety of Tumba care home for elderly in case of fire. The current fire safety was assessed by analyzing a number of fire scenarios. Simulation in regard to evacuation and fire development was carried out combined with an index method. The simulated time for evacuation was compared to the time when untenable conditions occur according to the fire simulations. It was concluded that the existing fire safety is deficient as untenable conditions are reached before persons are enabled to evacuate. By using the result of the analysis, some suggestions to improve the fire safety were suggested. The proposals were then validated to estimate if the fire safety improved. In the end of the report a list of solutions is presented that shall be implemented to enable the fire safety to reach acceptable level.
