Brandteknisk dimensionering av träfasader i Br1-byggnader

Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

Sammanfattning: This report explores the use of wooden façades in Br1-buildings by identifying and assessing test methods for façades available in Sweden and other European countries. The aim is also to investigate to what extent SP FIRE 105 is being used and how variations made to tested façades are being assessed. The methods used have been a literature study and interview study. The results show that there are several differences between the different test methods mainly regarding exposure and design of the test set-up. However, it is difficult to use another test method than SP FIRE 105 in Sweden since it is the test method referred to by the Swedish building regulations. Variations to wooden façades are common in Sweden, so the facade is rarely built the same way it has been tested. Variations are assessed qualitatively from test reports and statements or from assessing the materials in the façade or the building as a whole. Considering durability for wooden facades an EXT-class according to EN 16755 was deemed important even though it is not a requirement in the Swedish building regulations. At the same time, EN 16755 is criticised and there is ongoing work to improve the method.
