    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates how two types of artificial neural network models (ANN), feedforwardneural networks (FNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM), used for realized volatility (RV) forecasting, perform during high and low volatility regimes in comparison to the heterogeneousautoregressive (HAR) model.
