  1. 21. Strukturellt brandskydd på marina farkoster – Analytisk dimensionering av brandsektioneringar samt utvärdering av flexibla brandtätningar genom viktat urval

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik; Lunds universitet/Riskhantering (CI); Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

    Författare :Emelie Karlsson; David Vinberg; [2009]
    Nyckelord :Brandklassning; flexibla brandtätningar; intervallsanalys; viktat urval; strukturellt brandskydd; händelseträd; riskanalys; ubåt; acceptanskriterier; ALARP; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis is written at the request of Kockums AB to solve the need for flexible fire barriers on submarines, particularly for the future submarine class A26. The report uses event tree analysis to demonstrate that a lower fire resistance classification for decks and bulkheads, compared to the prescriptive rules, is sufficient to obtain a satisfactory level of safety. 2. 22. Analys av olycksutredningsmetoder tillämpade på anlagda bränder i skolor

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

    Författare :Simon Espenrud; Joel Johansson; [2009]
    Nyckelord :Accident investigation methods; fire development; Accident Evolution and Barrier function method AEB ; deviation investigation; Events and Causal Factors Charting and Analysis ECFCA ; fault tree analysis; event tree analysis; olycksutredningsmetod; brandförlopp; avvikelseutredning; felträdsanalys; händelseträdsanalys; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : There are several accident investigation methods and they are used in a wide range of fields. However, the methods have not been used so much in the fire accident area. In the present thesis, the methods’ capability to investigate fires and what they result in are explored. LÄS MER

  3. 23. A comparison between risk and vulnerability methods - applied to a Flue Gas Desulphurasation Facility (FGD) at a coal power plant in Germany

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik; Lunds universitet/Riskhantering (CI); Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

    Författare :Svante Einarsson; [2008]
    Nyckelord :Risk analysis; Vulnerability analysis; Flue Gas Desulphurisation FGD ; Preliminary analysis Event tree; An Approach to Vulnerability Analysis; mitigation; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This report describes the differences between a risk analysis and a vulnerability analysis, when applied to a Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) facility. A Preliminary risk analysis complemented by an Event Tree analysis is compared with An App-roach to Vulnerability Analysis of Complex Industrial Systems by Einarsson and Rausand (1998). LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : En sedimentsekvens bestående av totalt elva borrkärnor togs upp med hjälp av en s.k. ryssborr i dödishålan Skuremålagölen i Skuremåla naturreservat i centrala Blekinge. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Analysing Fire Risk in Automated High Bay Warehouses - Applying the IEC model for risk analysis on high bay warehouses

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik; Lunds universitet/Riskhantering (CI); Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

    Författare :Marcus Arvidsson; Frej Hult; [2006]
    Nyckelord :High Bay Warehouse; High Rack; Fire Risk Analysis; Ignition Frequency; Risk Analysis Framework; International Electrotechnical Commission; IKEA; Event Tree; Monte Carlo Analysis; Computational Fluid Dynamics; Fire Dynamics Simulator; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis presents a framework, aimed at assessing fire risk in large automated warehouses. The International Electrotechnical Commission’s (IEC) framework, Risk analysis of technological systems, provides the base, as to the functions of a risk analysis framework and this is subsequently adopted and expanded to better suit the fire risk analysis in high-bay warehouses.
