  1. 1. Manifest and enamel caries lesions at different tooth surfaces in Swedish adolescents at ages of 12 to 17 years. : Descriptive research

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för odontologi

    Författare :Lavinius Marca; Anton Kelmendi; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Karies; DFS; DeFS;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Caries is a chronic disease that affects billions of adult people and children worldwide. However, caries differs largely between individuals and countries that range from having comparably low to high prevalences of the disease. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Process parameter optimisation for Waspaloy using Laser-Directed Energy Deposition with Powder

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan Väst/Institutionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Författare :Johannes Lövhall; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Process parameter optimisation; Waspaloy; Laser-Directed Energy Deposition with Powder;

    Sammanfattning : Material utilisation is of importance in the manufacturing industry formaking the most of each material, minimising waste and increasing cost-effectiveness. In this thesis, samples of Waspaloy built with the method of L-DED-P has been analysed in order to investigate how process pa-rameters influence the build quality and geometrical accuracy in as-builtobjects. 3. 3. Geometry of high dimensional Gaussian data

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Tillämpad matematik; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakulteten

    Författare :Olof Samuel Mossberg; [2024]
    Nyckelord :HDLSS; high dimensional data; stochastic boundedness; asymptotic orthogonality; geometry; multivariate normal distribution; HDLSS; högdimensionell data; stokastisk begränsning; asymptotisk ortogonalitet; geometri; multivariat normalfördelning;

    Sammanfattning : Collected data may simultaneously be of low sample size and high dimension. Such data exhibit some geometric regularities consisting of a single observation being a rotation on a sphere, and a pair of observations being orthogonal. This thesis investigates these geometric properties in some detail. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Mängden död ved i värdekärnor i Söderåsens nationalpark

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre

    Författare :Gustav Thurell; [2024]
    Nyckelord :volym död ved; stående död ved; liggande död ved; bokskog; nedbrytningsgrad; värdekärna;

    Sammanfattning : There is a lack of knowledge about the development of the dead wood in former production beech (Fagus sylvatica) forests that have been protected. The present study has been carried out in Söderåsen National Park to compare the distribution of dead wood in relatively unaffected beech forests that have been protected for a long time (A-value cores) and older, previously managed beech forest that has only been protected for 20-30 years (B-value cores). 5. 5. Quantification of Pharmaceuticals at the sub-cellular level using the NanoSIMS

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Analytisk kemi

    Författare :Maryam Dost; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Mass spectroscopy imaging; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Therapeutics; pharmacokinetics; pharmacodynamics; Quantitative Visualization; calibration curve; RSF; pharmacology; Data Analysis; Chemistry; Quantification; isotopes; Pharmaceuticals; subcellular; drug; drug target; nucleotide; biodistribution; Bioanalytical electrochemistry; spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; analytical separations; Analytical Chemistry; ROI; Bioanalytical Chemistry; Masspektroskopi avbildning; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Terapeutik; farmakokinetik; farmakodynamik; Kvantitativ visualisering; kalibreringskurva; RSF; farmakologi; Dataanalys; Kemi; Kvantifiering; isotoper; Läkemedel; subcellulär; läkemedel; läkemedelsmål; bioskopisk elektrofördelning; nukleotid; bioskopisk bioskopisk distribution; masspektrometri; analytiska separationer; analytisk kemi; bioanalytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Mass spectroscopy imaging (MSI) has become a vital tool in modern research due to its ability to visualize the spatial distribution of molecules within tissue samples. The collaboration between researchers at AZ, the University of Gothenburg, and Chalmers University of Technology using the NanoSIMS instrument and MSI-SIMS technology has opened up new avenues of exploration in pharmaceutical development, particularly in examining drugs and metabolites at sub-cellular levels.
