  1. 1. Juice/JDC ion measurement perturbations caused by spacecraft charging in the solar wind and Earth’s magnetosheath

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Författare :Derek van Winden; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Juice; Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer; JDC; Jovian plasma Dynamics and Composition analyzer; Particle Environment Package; PEP; Jupiter; Ganymede; Callisto; Europa; solar wind; magnetosheath; spacecraft charging; Spacecraft Plasma Interaction Software; SPIS; charging; plasma; measurement perturbations; perturbation; distortion; particle detector; Institutet för Rymdfysik; IRF; Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies; DIAS; European Space Agency; ESA;

    Sammanfattning :  In July 2031, a new chapter in the exploration of the Jovian system will begin with the arrival of the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) at Jupiter. Launched on April 14 2024 as part of ESA’s Cosmic Vision programme, the mission aims to study Jupiter and its icy Galilean moons Callisto, Europa, and Ganymede. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Navigating the Waves of Conservation: Spatiotemporal Patterns in Harbour Porpoise Strandings in Swedish Waters

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Författare :Vigge Ulfsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Strandings; spatiotemporal patterns; harbour porpoise;

    Sammanfattning : Harbour porpoises (Phocoena phocoena) are the only cetacean residents found year-round in Swedish waters. Since in situ monitoring of cetaceans can be difficult, invasive and often costly, strandings can be used as a cost-effective alternative to continuously collect data on these elusive animals. 3. 3. Integrating web data miningand machine learningalgorithms to predict progression free survival and overall survival in multiple myeloma patients

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Yijie Zhou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Multiple myeloma patients have highly variable progression free survival and overall survivalranging from a few weeks to more than 5 years. Stratification of these patients can help toidentify high risk patients i-e patients with short-term progression free survival and overallsurvival. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Investigating self-discharge in a graphite dual-ion cell using in-situ Raman spectroscopy.

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Strukturkemi

    Författare :Ismail Yussuf Hassan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :graphite; dual-ion battery; parasitic reaction; cathode-electrolyte interface; anion intercalation; concentrated electrolyte; self-discharge; Raman spectroscopy;

    Sammanfattning : Anion intercalation in the graphite positive electrode of a dual-ion battery requires high potential (> 4.3 V vs Li+/Li), which aggravates parasitic reactions involving electrolyte decomposition and Al corrosion, manifesting in poor coulombic efficiency, cycle life, and quick self-discharge. 5. 5. Climate and economic implications of structure and façade materials on a building's life cycle performance : A case study of a multi-family building in Sweden

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Byggteknik och byggd miljö

    Författare :Maximilian Jatzkowski; [2023]
    Nyckelord :life cycle assessment; life cycle analysis; multi-family building; life cost analysis; facade; environmental analysis; livscykelanalys; miljöanalys; flerbostadshus; livskostnadsanalys; stomme; fasad;

    Sammanfattning : This study has been conducted in cooperation with OBOS Kärnhem. The objective of the study is to assess environmental impacts from different structural and facade materials to find a configuration with the lowest impact, and to assess the economic implications of different structural and façade materials.
