1. Reprocessing and Characterization of Polybenzimidazole for High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : A reprocessing method of poly(2,2’-(m-phenylene)-5,5’-bibenzimidazole) (PBI) membranes recovered from the production line of High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFC) at Blue World Technologies (BWT) has been developed in order to reduce material loss in the production. Redissolution of scrap PBI membranes in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) and phosphoric acid (PA) was successful and the subsequent washing procedure produced PBI that could be redissolved in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) and suitable for solution casting of new membranes. 2. Investigation of acidic chemical recycling of poly(acetal-ester)s
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : Plastic recycling is a very relevant topic from both environmental and economic viewpoints. Chemical plastic recycling is a logical solution to the plastic problems, which shows the potential to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions from burning the plastics. LÄS MER
3. Improving the sensorial properties of pea protein through fermentation
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/FörpackningslogistikSammanfattning : Lactic acid fermentation has been a widely used process for many years, offering nutritional and sensory benefits to plant proteins. In this study, the objective was to produce a fermented pea powder with enhanced sensory properties by combining previous research from FrieslandCampina. LÄS MER
4. Amino Acid Analysis : Establishment of a GC-FID method for Amino Acid Analysis in Legumes
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kemi och biomedicin (KOB)Sammanfattning : Demands for plant-based diets sufficient in all required amino acids are increasing due to health and environmental advantages. As legumes offer a complementing source of quality protein to the already heavily consumed cereals, methods for determining amino acid compositions in legumes are needed. LÄS MER
5. Influence of starch botanical source on aqueous two-phase system phase behavior and starch microspheres preparation
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)Sammanfattning : Background: Starch is a well-studied material, produced by plants in granules to store energy. Starch finds a lot of applications in day-to-day life, in the food and pharmaceutical industry. LÄS MER
