  1. 1. IDENTIFYING HATE SPEECH IN SOCIAL MEDIA THROUGH CONTENT AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS ANALYSIS

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för filosofi, lingvistik och vetenskapsteori

    Författare :Milan Stanišić; [2023-06-19]
    Nyckelord :hate speech; social media; natural language processing; classification;

    Sammanfattning : Hate speech is a problem which puts its targets at risk of serious harm. It spreads fast and has a real influence on the society because of the ubiquity of the internet and social media, and so various research efforts have been put to find solutions to automatic hate speech detection. 2. 2. IŻ SWÓJ JĘZYK MAJĄ! An exploration of the computational methods for identifying language variation in Polish

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för filosofi, lingvistik och vetenskapsteori

    Författare :Maria Irena Szawerna; [2023-06-19]
    Nyckelord :language variation; Polish; diachronic linguistics; part-of-speech tagging; lemmatization; corpus linguistics;

    Sammanfattning : Computational approaches to language variation continue to contribute in a relevant way to various fields, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) and linguistics. Being able to accommodate variation within natural language increases the robustness of NLP models and their usefulness in real-life applications; simultaneously, detecting and describing variation and trends that govern it is one of the main goals of sociolinguistics and historical linguistics, meaning that some of the advances in NLP can contribute to these fields as well. 3. 3. Trilingual spoken word recognition : Interlingual competition from one or two non-target languages in a sentence context

    Magister-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Centrum för tvåspråkighetsforskning

    Författare :Yulia Kashevarova; [2023]
    Nyckelord :trilingual speech processing; cross-linguistic competition; sentence context; BLINCS; BIA ;

    Sammanfattning : Persistent non-target language co-activation in spoken and visual language comprehension has been found both at the word-level and at the level of a sentence, although in the latter case, sentence bias has been observed to modulate the co-activation which can create lexical competition. In the case of trilingual speakers, both non-target languages may potentially compete with the third language (L3). LÄS MER

  4. 4. Analyzing the Influence of Synthetic andAugmented Data on Segmentation Model

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Alex Peschel; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Intelligence; Microorganisms; Segmentation; Synthesizing; Augmentation;

    Sammanfattning : The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, thanks to the numerous applications related to speech recognition, natural language processing, and computer vision. However, one of the challenges facing AI is the requirement for large amounts of energy, time, and data to be effective and accurate. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Approach for frequency response-calibration for microphone arrays

    M1-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Jacob Drotz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :microphone array; frequency response; calibration; sine sweep; inverse filter; digital signal processing DSP ; convolution; Fast Fourier Transform FFT ; Discrete Fourier Transform DFT ; acoustic measurements; audio engineering; mikrofonarray; frekvenssvar; kalibrering; sinussvep; inverterat filter; digital signalbehandling; faltning; Fast Fourier Transform FFT ; Discrete Fourier Transform DFT ; akustiska mätningar; ljudteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Matched frequency responses are a fundamental starting point for a variety ofimplementations for microphone arrays. In this report, two methods for frequencyresponse-calibration of a pre-assembled microphone array are presented andevaluated. LÄS MER
