    Sammanfattning : The following study focuses on the role of the Swedish mainstream media in constructing stereotypes and public opinion in regards to the issues of gender and the identity of immigrant minorities in Swedish society. The case of the honour killing of Fadime Shaindal is used to demonstrate the significance of media reporting in generating a social discourse concerning crime and its relation to culture. LÄS MER
