  1. 16. Vibration-Based Terrain Classification for an Autonomous Truck

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Lucas Lovén; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Autonomous vehicles; machine learning; surface identification; obstacle identification; signal processing; time series classification; Autonoma fordon; maskininlärning; detektering av underlag; detektering av hinder; signalhantering; tidsserie klassifiering;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is focused on developing vibration based terrain classification for an autonomous mining truck. The goal is to classify between good and bad gravel roads as well as good and bad asphalt roads. Current literature within vibration based terrain classification has been focused to a great extent on smaller research vehicles. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Reliability-Based Sensitivity Analysis of the Dynamic Response of Railway Bridges

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnad

    Författare :Hasan Al-Zubaidi; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Railway bridges; High-speed trains; Simply supported beam; Global sensitivity analysis; Uncertainty quantification; Reliability; Ballast instability; Running safety; Passenger comfort;

    Sammanfattning : In response to the planned increase in operational speeds and axle loads of passengertrains that may lead to resonance-induced excessive vibrations in railway bridges,recent studies examined the reliability of bridges concerning train running safety andpassenger comfort limit states. In this respect, valuable information regarding theimportance of input variables can be obtained by conducting Sensitivity Analysis (SA). LÄS MER

  3. 18. Macrosegregation Prediction in Continuously Cast Steel Slabs

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematik

    Författare :Malek Al-Ameri; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : A prediction model [3] of macrosegregation in continuously cast steel slabs developed by Barber et al from Corus Teesside Technology Centre, UK as an extension of the work of Miyazawa and Schwerdtfeger [4] is presented in this thesis. Improvements have been made in the model to include the effect of many bulges between the supporting rolls induced by the ferrostatic pressure exerted on the solidifying shell by the liquid phase, which were approximated following a deflection of an elastic beam model. 4. 19. How About Running on Mars ? Influence of Sensory Coherence on the Running Pattern and on Spatial Perception in Simulated Reduced Gravity

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Författare :Marie Keime; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Adaptation; Gravity; Locomotion; Sensory factors; Spatial perception; Unweighting.; Rörelse; Gravitation; Anpassning; Avvägning; Sensoriska faktorer; Rumslig uppfattning.;

    Sammanfattning : Motor control, including locomotion, strongly depends on the gravitational field. Recent developments like lower-body positive pressure treadmills (LBPPTs) have enabled Earth- based studies on the effects of reduced body weight (BW) on walking and running. Yet, the observed adaptations to simulated hypogravity are not optimal. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Temperature Dependent Electrical Characterisation of Vertical InAs-InGaAs Nanowire MOSFETs

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Sofie Johannesson; Sebastian Skog; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Vertical InGaAs Nanowire MOSFET Temperature Dependence Noise; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents the temperature dependence of InGaAs Nanowire (NW) metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) grown at two different temperatures. The two different growths represent one sample having nanowires which have a mixed crystal structure (showing stacking faults) and one sample with nanowires of pure crystal structure (without stacking faults).
