Sociala medier – nya lärplattformar? Beträdande av nya rum för vidareutveckling och inspiration utanför institutionen

Sammanfattning: The idea for this bachelor thesis, an action research project, developed as a part of my endeavor for higher independence from the institution and academy, preparing for my withdrawal from these. A personal participation in the practice phenomenon #100daysofpractice, on the social media platform Instagram, constitutes the main method of this project. It included daily video documentation of my practice together with short, freely written, texts/reflections on each published practice session. The results chapter of this thesis is based on data collected from three different categories: log notes, an implemented reflection cycle inspired by Gibbs’ template and also the published texts of each Instagram video. In the conclusions the following questions are answered: “How can I, through a social media platform like Instagram, reach a higher level of autonomy when leaving the institution?”, “How has my participation in the phenomenon #100daysofpractice influenced my motivation to practice?” and “In what ways can my reflections, concerning the 100 days, contribute to my future practice?”.
