    Sammanfattning : The primary objective of this study has been to investigate whether geographical localization can be argued to be of significance for a communitys predispositon to suffer epidemic outbreaks and furthermore, to evaluate what possible repercussions this may have on overall mortality over time. The aim of this essay is to study whether genre paintings portraying lower and middle class women in the 18th century Sweden can act as a source of information and knowledge regarding these women ́s types of work and way of life and if so, what in the the motives can be used as a source of information and thus contribute to traditional historical research.     Sammanfattning : With purpose of developing the knowledge of language change in the orthographic scientific field, this study maps out three of the orthographic changes that are penned down by Leopold in Afhandling om Svenska stafsättet year 1801. Here, introductions, acceptance and spreading of new spellings the Swedish language use during the end of the 18th and the first half of the 19th century and the reasons for them spreading are in focus.     Sammanfattning : This thesis examines, via a method of discourse analysis, the allosemitic discourse and the conceptual ‘Jew’ in the Swedish press during hree separate five-year periods: 1813–1817, 1824–1828, and 1836–1840. The study focuses on the press from three Swedish cities where Jews could settle according to Judereglementet (the ‘Jew regulation’) from 1782: Göteborg, Norrköping and Stockholm. LÄS MER
