    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay is to discuss how CCTV (Close Circuit Television), installed by the Swe-dish Police Authority, is used and how it can be improved to solve more crimes. The Swedish Police Authority use CCTV in crime investigations, however there might be improvements of several aspects, as positioning, how they are set and how the surroundings, like lightning and obscuring objects, are optimized to help the cameras.
