    Sammanfattning : Ambitionen med detta arbete är att undersöka huruvida det finns något mönster mellan användandet av matematikboken och de bedömningsprocesser som sker i skolan. Flera forskare och rapporter (Johansson, 2006; Löwing; 2004; McDuffie & Mather, 2006, Skolverket 2003) pekar på att matematikboken har en väldigt central roll i undervisningen i skolan och att de bedömningar som oftast gjordes var summativa bedömningar i samband med prov eller diagnoser.
