21. Using Sentinel-2 Satellite Images to Estimate Traits of Forage Grasslands
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Agricultural Research for Northern SwedenSammanfattning : In this project, regression models based on data from field measurements and spectral information extracted from satellite imagery were used to estimate traits of forage grasslands; dry matter yield, canopy average height and total leaf chlorophyll. Four fields at SLUs Röbäcksdalen field station were sampled on 22 occasions and a total of 198 samples, including measurement of the highest plant, canopy height, leaf chlorophyll content, canopy spectral reflectance and biomass were collected. 22. Combination analysis of multispectral and radar satellite data
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysikSammanfattning : Remote sensing technologies, such as satellite imagery, have proven to be a powerful tool for land cover classification when combined with machine learning algorithms. Depending on which type of sensor is used for the imagery, different properties of land cover classes may be distinguished. LÄS MER
23. Identification of alkaline fens using convolutional neural networks and multispectral satellite imagery
Magister-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/DatavetenskapSammanfattning : The alkaline fen is a particularly valuable type of wetland with unique characteristics.Due to anthropogenic risk factors and the sensitive nature of the fens, protection is highlyprioritized with identification and mapping of current locations being important parts ofthis process. 24. Effects of the 2018 drought on mire productivity in Skogaryd - Evaluation of ground sensors, satellite data and meteorological data
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : The drought is a complex meteorological phenomenon associated with low precipitation and low water saturation in atmosphere, soils and plants and can has a great effect on aboveground biomass and change the structure and function of the ecosystems. The droughts also are known to reduce the primary and secondary productivity of vegetation. LÄS MER
25. Predicting biodiverse semi-natural grasslands through satellite imagery and machine learning
Magister-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografiSammanfattning : Semi-natural grasslands are amongst the most biodiverse ecosystems in Europe, though their importance they are experiencing a declining trend. To monitor and assess the health of these ecosystems is generally costly, personnel demanding and time-consuming. LÄS MER
