  1. 1. Were the most important election pledges fulfilled? An empirical investigation of the Swedish government’s pledge fulfillment after the 2014 parliamentary election

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Ida Steineck Nilsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Election pledges; pledge fulfillment; the mandate model; promissory representation; Swedish politics; Law and Political Science;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis provides an account of the pledge-making and eventual pledge fulfilment of the Swedish government of 2014, which consisted of the Social Democratic Party and the Green Party. It is grounded in the theoretical approaches of the mandate model of representation and promissory representation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Forecasting Volatility of Ether- An empirical evaluation of volatility models and their capacity to forecast one-day-ahead volatility of Ether

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Johannes Marmdal; Adam Törnqvist; [2023-06-29]
    Nyckelord :Forecast; Volatility; Ether; GARCH; EWMA; SMA;

    Sammanfattning : This study evaluates the performance of volatility models in forecasting one-day-ahead volatility of the cryptocurrency Ether. The selected models are: GARCH, EGARCH, GJR-GARCH, SMA9, SMA20, and EWMA. We investigate both in-sample performance and out-of-sample performance. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigating the influence of the tidal regime on harbour porpoise Phocoena phocoena distribution in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Duncan Jones; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Geography; Geographical Information Systems; GIS; Habitat Modelling; Harbour Porpoise; MaxEnt; Tidal Processes; Conservation; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Investigating the influence of the tidal regime on harbour porpoise Phocoena phocoena distribution in Mount’s Bay, Cornwall Abstract Unintentional by-catch in fishing gear is a significant cause of mortality of harbour porpoises in UK waters. Understanding the spatial distribution of harbour porpoises at fine scales and how this changes over time is essential when trying to understand where these lethal interactions might occur. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Error propagation in nuclear models

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Artis Mucenieks; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we perform error analysis of a nuclear model based on density-functional theory developed in Lund. The Lund model allows us to perform calculations of nuclear spectra more efficiently by constructing a simple effective Hamiltonian reproducing the quadrupole deformation and pairing interaction strength parameters of a spherical Hartree-Fock reference functional. 5. 5. Fast charging of electrical vehicles with help from battery energy storage systems : A study of how batteries can lower the power peaks for fast charging of electrical vehicles in Stockholm

    M1-uppsats, KTH/Hälsoinformatik och logistik

    Författare :Erik Wikström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Electric vehicle; fast charging; direct current charging; battery energy storage system; Elfordon; snabbladdning; likströmsladdning; batterienergilagringssystem;

    Sammanfattning : To enable fast charging of electric vehicles in Stockholm or sites where the electrical energy is limited and the number of chargeable vehicles increases, there is a need to investigate new solutions to comply with the future demand. The goal of this project is to investigate what the conditions are in Stockholm today and investigate what is needed to enable fast chargers in Stockholm city. LÄS MER
