Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för företagande, innovation och hållbarhetSammanfattning : .... LÄS MER
17. Structural strengthening and sustainability improvements of existing buildings – A case study
Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för byggteknik (BY)Sammanfattning : In Sweden, a large share of residential buildings was built more than 50 years ago. Consequently, old materials, poor maintenance, and corrosion can affect the structural performance of these buildings. Additionally, these buildings do not meet the latest energy efficiency and Eurocode regulations. LÄS MER
18. Carbon capture in biomass combustion plants using promoted potassium carbonate solutions : A cost and safety evaluation
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för kemiteknikSammanfattning : Biomass combustion can be seen as CO2 neutral, thereby biomass combustion plants can have negative CO2 emissions if retrofitted with post combustion capture (PCC) technology using liquid absorbents. Monoethanolamine (MEA) has been used for carbon capture in coal combustion plants but are not suitable for use in biomass combustion plants due to corrosion and high solvent regeneration cost. 19. Calibration in Urban Building Energy Modeling
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologiSammanfattning : This thesis work tries to study the annual calibration process for building performance simulations. The bottom-up modelling is a tool to predict energy consumption in Urban Building Energy Modeling (UBEM) which is a common approach to find the most appropriate retrofitting strategies or to monitor energy use for a group of buildings (an archetype), a neighbourhood or a city. 20. Thermal comfort study on a renovated residential apartment in Tjärna Ängar, Borlänge
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan Dalarna/EnergiteknikSammanfattning : The Swedish government in the 1960th initiated “The Million Program” to build million residentialunits to cover the housing shortage between 1965 to 1975. Tjärna Ängar neighborhood in Borlängemunicipality was built during the million-program period, where these residential units became old,and the indoor environment is uncomfortable for the residents.
