  1. 1. Application of Fourier Transforms to time-resolved ambient pressure spectroscopy operando studies of CO oxidation over Pt(111)

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik

    Författare :Grigore-Leon Ratiu; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The study of heterogeneous catalysis has important implications in increasing the efficiency of industrial processes and in reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases from sources such as automobiles. A reaction with high industrial relevance is the oxidation of CO on noble metal catalysts. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Supply Chain Resilience within the Automotive Industry - A single-case study on the importance of Supply Chain Resilience practices for an automotive MNC as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Sammanfattning : Background: The automotive industry is a complex industry and sensitive to the business environment surrounding it. This has been shown by the last years, which have been dominated by disruptions and economic turbulence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Genetic Data Privacy and Consumer Choice Behavior: An Exploratory Study on Direct-To-Consumer Genetic Testing

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Inês Raeiro; Xuexin Li; [2023-07-03]
    Nyckelord :consumer privacy; privacy calculus theory; trust; genetic data privacy; direct-to-consumer genetic testing; consumer choice behavior;

    Sammanfattning : The rapid growth of the Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing (DTC-GT) industry has raised significant concerns regarding the collection, storage, and use of highly sensitive genetic information. This study aims to address the existing research gaps by examining consumer privacy and choice behavior in the context of DTC-GT. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Ecological risk assessment of pesticide use in rice farming in the Mekong Delta , Vietnam

    Magister-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi

    Författare :Bubaraye Ohiosimuan Dirikumo; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Pesticides; Ecological Risk Assessment ERA ; rice farming; Mekong Delta; PRIMET Model; Exposure Toxicity Ratio ETR ; species sensitivity distribution SSD ; predicted environmental concentrations PECs ;

    Sammanfattning : Pesticide use in rice farming is a common practice in the Mekong Delta and poses ecological risks to aquatic organisms, the environment, and human health. This study focused on the ecological risk assessment of pesticide use in rice farming using the PRIMET model as a decision support tool to evaluate the risks of pesticide exposure, ecotoxicity, and risk characterization, as well as employing the species sensitivity distribution (SSD) assessment model to calculate the potentially affected fraction (PAF) of species based on the computed predicted environmental concentrations (PECs) from PRIMET.
