  1. 1. Single- or Three-Phase Supply to Homes : Advantages and Disadvantages compared between Single-phase and Three-phase domestic electricity

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Alexander Grönblad; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Elecricity Tariff; Single-phase Supply; Three-phase Supply; Load Curve; Homes; Eltariff; Enfasmatning; Trefasmatning; Lastprofil; Bostäder;

    Sammanfattning : A three-phase power supply is a de facto standard when selecting a power supply to homes in Sweden, regardless of whether it is flat with low energy consumption or a house with electric heating. This project aims to determine the advantages and disadvantages of using a three-phase supply compared to a single-phase supply to homes. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Development of headspace solid phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry method for analysis of volatile organic compounds in board samples : Correlation study between chromatographic data and flavor properties

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörs- och kemivetenskaper (from 2013)

    Författare :Thea Zethelius; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Solid phase microextraction SPME ; method development; volatile organic compounds VOCs ; food contact material FCM ; flavor experience; design of experiment DoE ; multivariate analysis;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis work was to develop a headspace solid phase microextraction gas chromatography mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS) method to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in board samples and to statistically investigate potential correlation between chromatographic data and flavor data obtained from a trained panel. The developed method would hopefully serve as a complement to the already established routine analyses at Stora Enso and gain an increased understanding of which VOCs in the board influence its flavor properties. 3. 3. Betongfyllda HSQ-balkar : Ett alternativ till traditionellt brandskydd

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Byggteknik och design

    Författare :Alexander Samuelsson; Peter Gårdefors; [2018]
    Nyckelord :HSQ-beam; hat beam; fire protection; concrete as a coolant; fire flow; fire design; standard heating curve; fire resistance; steel temperature development; HSQ-balk; hattbalk; brandskydd; betong som kylmedium; brandförlopp; branddimensionering; standardbrandkurvan; bärförmåga vid brand; temperaturutveckling i stål;

    Sammanfattning : Den brandskyddsmetod av bjälklagsbalkar som används mest idag är brandskyddsfärg och brandskyddsskivor. Dessa metoder kräver ett extra arbetsmoment efter att balken är monterad. Genom att fylla balken med betong samtidigt som hålbjälklagskarvarna fylls och på så sätt integrera brandskyddet i balken kan ett extra arbetsmoment undvikas. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Validation of TEKNOsim 5: Verification Against Different Standards and Building Energy Simulation Tools

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Energi och byggnadsdesign

    Författare :Marwan Y A Abugabbara; [2017]
    Nyckelord :TEKNOsim; Validation; Building energy simulation tools; Thermal indoor environment; BESTEST; ASHRAE; CIBSE; European Standards; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The growth of building energy simulation tools has provided users with a variety of alternatives to model and simulate buildings. The algorithms used in each building energy simulation software are different and range from simple to highly complex. TEKNOsim is a simple design tool based on analytical and empirical algorithms. 5. 5. Behaviour and structural design of concrete structures exposed to fire

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Betongbyggnad

    Författare :Annelies De Wit; [2011]
    Nyckelord :Concrete; Fire; Design; Eurocode; Modelling; Review;

    Sammanfattning : Concrete has an excellent intrinsic behaviour when exposed to fire, especially when compared to other building materials. However, its fire resistance should not be taken for granted and a proper structural fire design is certainly necessary. LÄS MER
