    Sammanfattning : The research on the success of right-wing radical parties is extensive, not the least in terms of reasons for the success but also findings about the parties' reduced trust in democracy in comparison to other parties. Researchers often link the Sweden Democrats to right-wing radicalism, which makes us wonder if SD sympathizers' trust in democratic institutions is consistent with the party's success? Considering this research gap, the purpose of the study is to examine what the possible incorporation of the Sweden Democrats into Swedish democracy has meant for SD sympathizers' democratic values.
