   Sammanfattning : The thesis project was carried out in collaboration with the company Swepart and aimed to develop a concept for an engageable and disengageable clutch that would be mounted onto an engine driven power take off. A power take-off is the link that connects a vehicle's engine with machines that are to be driven, and since these power take-offs are often connected even when the machines do not need to be used, there are unnecessary losses in the form of increased fuel consumption.
