11. Effects of plant-fungal interactions on volatile emission of Hordeum vulgare and aphid preference
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of EcologySammanfattning : Barley is one of the most economically important cultivated crops in the world. However, barley is a host for many insect pests and plant pathogenic fungi which is a threat to the production. Rhopalosiphum padi is an economically important insect pest that leads to large economical losses in agricultural crops such as barley. LÄS MER
12. BVOC emission variability for Norway spruce (Picea abies) in Hyltemossa, Sweden
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapSammanfattning : Biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOC) are known as hydrocarbons emitted into the atmosphere from the biosphere. They have physiological and ecological functions such as communication within the plant and plant – plant, protection against environmental stress factors and defense against herbivores attack. 13. Växthusgasflöden från restaurerad torvmark : en jämförelse mellan en restaurerad torvtäkt och en orörd myr i Store Mosse nationalpark 7 år efter återvätning
Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and EnvironmentSammanfattning : Den globala uppvärmningen ökar.
14. Swedish substrates suited for circular production of the edible gourmet mushroom maitake
Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)Sammanfattning : A selection of locally sourced substrates were evaluated for hyphal growth and fruiting body production of the edible gourmet mushroom maitake (Grifola frondosa). Hyphal growth was evaluated on a wide range of substrates (30) including different leaves, sawdust and waste from food production and the substrate that performed best was potato peelings, which showed development of a remarkably dense mycelium. 15. Multifaceted effects of competition and plant-soil feedbacks on Achillea millefolium grown in soil from a riparian meadow : Emil Karlsson - Umeå University - Thesis project - 60 hp
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskapSammanfattning : Competition between plant individuals and how plants alter soil properties are key processes which drive changes in plant communities over time. Estimating the relative importance of these processes and how they affect plant growth in different ecological contexts and communities is an active area of research. LÄS MER
