  1. 1. Betesrestaureringens effekter på växtartrikedom och biologisk mångfald : -restaurering av betesmark på Hallands Väderö

    Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Avdelningen för biologi; Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för hälsa, natur- och teknikvetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Rolfsdotter Söderberg Ylva; [2024]
    Nyckelord :pasture restoration; biodiversity; species richness; effective number of species; plants; plant species; number of species; clearing; pasture; betesrestaurering; biologisk mångfald; artrikedom; effektivt artantal; växter; växtarter; antal arter; artantal; hävd; betesmark; naturbetesmark;

    Sammanfattning : Abstract Pasture is a very species-rich but threatened nature type, and compared to 200 years ago, only five percent of natural pastures remain in Sweden. One way to try to save the biological diversity that pastures harbor is to restore overgrown land by clearing and reintroducing grazing animals. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Relations between tree and habitat characteristics and the epiphytic lichen flora on oak : a case study from Lövön, Bohuslän

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre

    Författare :Julia Siegel; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Epiphytic lichens; Tree characteristics; Habitat characteristics; Oak; Biodiversity; Natural values; Light availability;

    Sammanfattning : Oak-rich forests and wooded pastures harbor diverse and distinct epiphytic lichen flora with many rare and threatened species. As these habitats have been subject to a substantial decline and degradation over the past centuries, oak woodlands have progressively come into focus for preservation. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The effects of management practices and environmental variables on the biodiversity of Nardus grasslands in the national park Hohe Tauern, Austria

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Ecology

    Författare :Rebecca Paulina Dörner; [2023]
    Nyckelord :biodiversity; Nardus stricta; Nardus grassland; national park Hohe Tauern; East Tyrol; alpine pastures;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction. A large part of the biodiversity of the Alps is linked to an interaction between the natural environment and traditional land-use practices. This study focuses on the priority habitat type of species rich Nardus grasslands (Natura 2000 Code 6230*), which is endangered, but continues to thrive in extensively managed subalpine pastures. 4. 4. ”Slåttermarken var troligtvis stängslad, och korna fick bo i skogen” : en jämförande studie av skogsbeten i Örebro och Västerbottens län

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Forest Ecology and Management

    Författare :Sofie Ekestubbe; Wilma Johansson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Extensivt bete; Naturbeten; Betesmark; Naturvård;

    Sammanfattning : En studie som jämfört skillnader i skogsbeten i två delar av Sverige, Örebro län och Västerbottens län. Genom interjuver med lantbrukare och tjänstemän har denna studie samlat in data gällande deras drivkraft till att bevara traditionen bakom skogsbeten. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Pollinator communities on a landscape complexity gradient in southern Sweden

    Magister-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Ecology

    Författare :Hanna Olsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :pollinator; bumblebee; rough pasture; semi-natural pasture; unimproved grazing; landscape complexity;

    Sammanfattning : Investigating how pollinator populations are affected by land use changes is crucial for predicting their persistence in the landscape and thereby the persistence of the significant service they provide to crop production. Pollinator populations are subjected to multiple threats, particularly overall intensification of cropping systems and landscape simplification. LÄS MER
