    Sammanfattning : In prokaryotes, protein synthesis and folding are often coupled, and the protein begins to fold from the N-terminus as it is being synthesized. It has been hypothesised that there could be kinetic coupling of the speed of translation and the folding, which means that an altered rate of synthesis can cause a possible misfolding of the protein.
