  1. 1. Towards a feedback system for upper body bodyweight exercises using multiple inertial measurement units : A user-centred approach

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Panagiota Papadopoulou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :IMU sensors; bodyweight training; machine learning; real-time feedback; push-ups; tricep dips; plank;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the feasibility of developing an affordable and easy-to-use feed- back system that leverages information from multiple inertial measurement units (IMUs) to identify mistakes during upper body bodyweight training and provide real-time feedback to the user. To develop the system, a human-centered approach was used, which involved conducting semi-structured interviews with movement ex- perts and a workshop with targeted end-users to understand their needs. 2. 2. Modernisation of a Performance Testing Machine for Olympic Wrestlers : A Case Study of the PowerBox Performance Testing Machine

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystem

    Författare :Jitse Jan van Esch; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Modernisation; Performance Testing; Olympic Wrestlers; Real-Time Feedback; Automation; Hardware Technology; User Experience; Data Analysis; Modernisering; Prestatietest; Olympische Worstelaars; Realtime Feedback; Automatisering; Hardware Technologie; Gebruikerservaring; Data analyse; Modernisering; Prestationstester; Olympiska Brottare; Realtidsfeedback; Automatisering; Hårdvaruteknik; Användarupplevelse; Dataanalys;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis focuses on the modernisation of the PowerBox, a performance testing machine intended for Olympic wrestlers to help them enhance their ability to prevent penalty points caused by being pushed out of the wrestling area. As the PowerBox has become outdated and underutilized, this study aims to revive the project by exploring how modern hardware and software technology can be integrated to provide real-time feedback and automate post-analysis processes. 3. 3. A Robot for Learning Drum-Rhythms : An instruction tool for beginners — keeping drum rhythms accurate with real-time feedback

    Magister-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Joas Kahlert; Johan Nilsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Rhythm; Drumstick; Beats Per Minute; Mechatronics; Rytm; Trumstock; Beats Per Minute; Mekatronik;

    Sammanfattning : Accurate rhythmic pace-keeping is an ability achieved only by a lot of practice. However, finding the opportunity to practice can be difficult when availability of teachers is insufficient. This thesis aims to construct a prototype that teaches its users basic rhythm keeping, specifically rhythms produced on drums. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Electroglottography in Real-Time Feedback for Healthy Singing

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Musikakustik

    Författare :Isak Nilsson; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Electroglottography; Laryngography; EGG; Real-time Feedback; Contemporary Commercial Music; CCM; SuperCollider; Voice Range Profile; VRP; Clustering; Elektroglottografi; laryngografi; EGG; realtidsfeedback; CCM; SuperCollider; VRP; klustring;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis describes early attempts at using electroglottography (EGG) to capture such changes in vocal fold vibration patterns that could be of interest to teachers of contemporary commercial music. After initial explorations, focus is placed on detecting potentially detrimental phonation; more specifically on the pressed quality often associated with loud singing in high register (belting). 5. 5. Akuta effekter av myofeedback vid en maximal isokinetisk knäextension   :  - Hur påverkas knämuskulaturens aktiveringsgrad och styrkeutveckling av EMG-feedback?

    Magister-uppsats, Institutionen för idrotts- och hälsovetenskap

    Författare :Alexander Ovendal; [2011]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Sammanfattning Syfte Syftet med denna studie var att ta reda på om akut visuell biofeedback i form av EMG, från qudriceps och hamstrings kan öka knäextensorernas muskelaktivitet samt styrkeutvecklingen, vid en maximal viljemässig isokinetisk benspark (20o.s-1). LÄS MER
