    Sammanfattning : The wars between Denmark and the German states during the 19th century raised the issue in the Swedish public opinion of a potential Swedish intervention and of Scandinavism. This study examined the formation of opinion in Swedish newspapers during the years 1848-1850 and 1864 in order to identify similarities and differences in the reporting of the two wars. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Abstract: Schleswig the pearl of Denmark This essay analyzes the thoughts and  explores the experiences of a Swedish soldier during the Second Schleswig war and explores the views of Axel Edvard Wester a Swedish officer that was voluntarily recruited in the Danish army to fight against the Prussians and defend what he recognized as a part of Denmark, the region of Schleswig.
