    Sammanfattning : The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect that exposure to beauty standards has on body-esteem, body-compassion, and body-comparison. To examine this an experiment was performed with a 3x2 design where the participants were exposed to one out of three kinds of stimuli; male beauty standards, female beauty standards and neutral images.
