1. Multi-Parameter Modelling of Surface Electromyography Data
2. Identifying effects of adrenaline and dopamine binding on the beta2-adrenergic receptor structure and function using machine learning
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : The beta2-adrenergic receptor is a G-protein coupled receptor, involved in several physiological processes, which enables signaling through the cell membrane. To study the effect of dopamine and adrenaline binding on the receptor structure and function, we used machine learning methods applied to data from molecular dynamics simulations. LÄS MER
3. Comparison and optimization of extracellular vesicle (EV) capturing on functional thin films for their molecular profiling
Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysikSammanfattning : Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are lipid bilayer encapsulated nanoparticles which have emerged as an excellent source of biomarkers for multiple diseases, including cancer. However, they are highly heterogeneous in their molecular compositions which remains a major challenge hindering the utilization of their biomarker potential. LÄS MER
4. CFD Analysis of the Flow Around a Paraglider Wing
Master-uppsats, KTH/Teknisk mekanikSammanfattning : In this study, the characteristics of the flow around a paraglider wing were investigated through the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations by solving both Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations and Delayed Detached Eddy Simulations were employed. This allowed the observation of how the unique shape of the canopy of a paraglider can influence the behaviour of the flow and how aerodynamic hysteresis can manifest on this sort of wing. LÄS MER
5. Acquired and lost structure-functions of non-enveloped and enveloped viruses
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildningSammanfattning : Viruses are biological entities that constantly affect the world around us and in many cases they can harm the health of humans and negatively impact food production, in agriculture andfisheries. The project concept is that, through the structural studies of viruses that infectsimple hosts, it is possible to point out structural features that are unique and conserved inviruses, that infect human, other animals, and crops, in the same phylogenetic lineage.
