  1. 16. On a novel soliton equation, its integrability properties, and its physical interpretation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Alexander Fagerlund; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Calogero-Moser systems; Conservation laws; Elliptic dynamics; Fluid dynamics; Hamiltonian mechanics; Hyperbolic dynamics; Integrability; Lax pairs; Pole ansatz; Riemann-Hilbert problems; Solitons; Bevarandelagar; Calogero-Mosersystem; Elliptisk dynamik; Fluiddynamik; Hamiltonmekanik; Hyperbolisk dynamik; Integrabilitet; Laxpar; Polansats; Riemann-Hilbertproblem; Solitoner;

    Sammanfattning : In the present work, we introduce a never before studied soliton equation called the intermediate mixed Manakov (IMM) equation. Through a pole ansatz, we prove that the equation has N-soliton solutions with pole parameters governed by the hyperbolic Calogero-Moser system. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Conservative Discontinuous Cut Finite Element Methods: Convection-Diffusion Problems in Evolving Bulk-Interface Domains

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Inst.)

    Författare :Sebastian Myrbäck; [2022]
    Nyckelord :numerical analysis; mathematical modeling; convection-diffusion equation; partial differential equation; unfitted method; CutFEM; finite element method; discontinuous Galerkin method; numerisk analys; matematisk modellering; konvektions-diffusionsekvationer; partiella differentialekvationer; finita elementmetoden; diskontinuerliga Galerkinmetoden;

    Sammanfattning : This work entails studying unfitted finite element discretizations for convection-diffusion equations in domains that evolve in time. In particular, these partial differential equations model the evolution of the concentration of soluble surfactants in bulk-interface domains. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Inverse source modeling of roll induced magnetic signature

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Avdelningen för beräkningsvetenskap

    Författare :Erik Thermaenius; [2022]
    Nyckelord :inverse modeling; inverse; modeling; magnetic; signature; source modeling; tikhonov; roll; magnetic silencing; regularization; regularisation; induction; dipole; dipoles; Helmholtz; inversmodellering; magnetisk; signatur; källmodellering; rullning; rullningsinducerad; regularisering; dipol; dipoler;

    Sammanfattning : Vessels constructed in electrically conductive materials give rise to frequency-dependent, induced magnetic fields when waves of water cause them to roll in the Earth's magnetic field. These fields, typically referred to as roll-induced magnetic vortex fields, are a component of the ship's overall signature, where signature refers to measurable quantities which can reveal or identify objects. 4. 19. Sandwich Design of a Platform Lift Floor

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)

    Författare :Ruizhi Zhao; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Aluminium honeycomb sandwich; Fatigue analysis; Sandwich design; Sandwich joint design; SolidWorks simulation; Bikakesanalys; Bikakemönster sandwich; Sandwich design; SolidWorks-simulering; Utmattningsanalys;

    Sammanfattning : Mobility is a symbol of dignity. A platform lift enables everyone of different physical abilities to move vertically with ease. Currently, the platform lift by Aritco Lift is made of steel sheet metal. It is heavy, thus difficult to handle. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Turism : incitament för samhällsutveckling & ett potentiellt problem

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management (from 130101)

    Författare :Elin Rangford; [2022]
    Nyckelord :turism; överturism; planering; landskapsplanering; fritidshusområden; naturturism; Gotland; Åre;

    Sammanfattning : Med dagens snabbt ökande intresse för resande och utforskande av nya platser är turism ett högaktuellt ämne för planerare. Turism leder ofta till fysisk utveckling av landskapet, samtidigt som det även riskerar att leda till problem i landskapet om inte aktiv förvaltning genomförs. LÄS MER
