Sammanfattning: Global warming is increasing and in order for us to reach our high climategoals, we must act now. The construction industry in Sweden stands for morethan 21 % of the total amount of emissions, which means that we are one of thekey players in the conversion of a fossil-free day-to-day life.Reports and research show us that we must build and plan for more of a circularconstruction than we do today. The construction industry has to change theirway of recycled materials.This report seeks to investigate which obstacle there is to reuse CLT today. Dueto qualitative data collections and mail correspondence with leading actors inthe industry.The result is unambiguously, we must recycle more than we do today to reachour climate goals, but a lack of legislation and a narrow approach to recycledmaterials make this highly complex today.The report’s conclusion shows us that it is possible to recycle CLT today, but itis cumbersome and not feasible in other ways than doing the same check-ups asfor newly produced materials.
