  1. 6. Room Impulse Response Interpolation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Daníel Thor Wilcox; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Virtual Acoustics; Machine Learning; Signal Processing; Room Impulse Response; Virtuell Akustik; Maskininlärning; Signalbehandling; rumsimpulssvar;

    Sammanfattning : In Virtual Reality (VR) systems, the incorporation of acoustics allows for the generation of audio-visual stimuli, facilitating applications in engineering, architecture, and design. The goal of virtual acoustics is to create a realistic sound field in continuous space. LÄS MER

  2. 7. A designer-driven approach to procedural generation tools for level design

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Max Truedsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Master Thesis; Game development; Game Design; Procedural generation; PCG; Level creation; Art Tool; 3d Environment design; Master Examensarbete; Spelutveckling; Speldesign; Procedurell generering; PCG; Spelbana Konstruktion; Konst verktyg; 3d miljö design;

    Sammanfattning : Game development is a multifaceted field that involves both traditional software practices and creative work. It is characterized by its iterative and time-consuming process where prototypes are created and then evaluated. This is especially true for creating 3D environments, where it is difficult to evaluate the quality before it is completed. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Monocular 3D Human Pose Estimation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Robert Rey; [2023]
    Nyckelord :3D Human Pose Estimation; Monocular Images; Deep Learning; Artificial Neural Networks; 3D Människokroppspositionsuppskattning; Monokulära bilder; Djupinlärning; Konstgjorda neurala nätverk;

    Sammanfattning : The focus of this work is the task of 3D human pose estimation, more specifically by making use of key points located in single monocular images in order to estimate the location of human body joints in a 3D space. It was done in association with Tracab, a company based in Stockholm, who specialises in advanced sports tracking and analytics solutions. LÄS MER

  4. 9. 2D or not 2D: Assessing environmental awareness and cognitive load in mixed reality data visualizations : Visualizing gas leak data visualizations for an industrial surveying setting

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Julia Schwuchow; [2023]
    Nyckelord :environmental awareness; cognitive load; information visualization; mixed reality; sustainable HCI; miljomedvetenhet; kognitiv belastning; informationsvisualisering; mixad ¨ verklighet; hallbar MDI;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing the environmental awareness of invisible data, such as a city’s air pollution or a household’s energy consumption, has been an ongoing information visualization challenge that has entered the fields of immersive technologies like augmented (AR) and mixed reality (MR). In order to understand how form and dimensional affect this understanding for MR environments, this research investigated what the difference between statistical, iconographic 2D and physical 3D visualizations is with regards to minimizing cognitive load and fostering environmental awareness. 5. 10. Arbitrary motion Synthetic Aperture Radar

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Filip Alberius; Erik Rolander; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RADAR; SAR; Synthetic Aperture Radar; Pulsed Coherent Radar; PCR; VR; Virtual Reality; IMU; Inertial Measurment Unit; VAA; Virtual Antenna Array; Obstacle detection; Signal Processing; Matched Filter Method.; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna avhandling är att utveckla en ny metod för att producera bilder med syntetisk aperturradar (SAR), med utgångspunkt i scenarier med arbiträr rörelse vad gäller radarsensorn. SAR är en väletablerad metod för att skapa 2- eller 3-dimensionella radarbilder, som traditionellt sett antar att radar-sensorns rörelse är linjär och förutsägbar. LÄS MER
