Through a policy review of ASEAN policies on climate, migration, disaster risk reduction and development this study finds that the climate-environment-mobility nexus is not adequately addressed in ASEAN’s policy realm. 3. Examining the protective services of mangroves at a regional scale in Indonesia

The change of exposure has therefore been calculated through the loss of mangrove biomass, through deforestation and degradation, over time, as well the increase in population living within 10km2 of disturbed mangroves. It draws on Manzini’s (2018) critique of neoliberalism and his discussion on designing for social innovation, which suggests focusing on and enhancing existing members' capabilities rather than their needs; fostering cross-collaboration within and among communities; and allowing these collaborations to mature over time.
