    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to study how human mobility in the context of climate and environmental change is governed at a regional level in Southeast Asia, with the regional intergovernmental organisation ASEAN, as a case study. Through a policy review of ASEAN policies on climate, migration, disaster risk reduction and development this study finds that the climate-environment-mobility nexus is not adequately addressed in ASEAN’s policy realm.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to understand how migrants perceive their opportunities to access health care, and how underlying factors result in barriers impacting their access to health care and ability to safeguard their health. It does so by answering the research question: How do Venezuelan migrants in Medellín perceive their access to health care?     Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the discourses produced by the International Organization for Migration in relation to the phenomenon of ‘climate migration’ in order to identify the main problematization and subsequent implications. Using Carol Bacchi’s approach entitled “What’s the problem represented to be?” and conducting a qualitative policy analysis of 13 documents written by the IOM between 2007-2022, the thesis answers the following questions: i) How does the IOM problematize ‘climate migration’ within its knowledge products? ii) How are the ‘climate migrants’ represented? iii) What are the implications of such problematizations? The analysis reveals that ‘climate migration’ is linked to one’s vulnerability to cope with climate change and is seen as an appropriate adaptation strategy. LÄS MER
