Thus, this thesis proposes a reconstruction of the very early history of the fivefold daily Islamic liturgy, attempting also to weigh the extent of the influence that pre-Islamic religions, primarily Middle Eastern Christianity and Judaism, might have had in its development. Many scientists have investigated the religiosity of youth and the liturgical language, but there is no completed study on the relationship between the language that young people use in discussions about existential issues and the language of the representatives of the Church of Sweden. This study examines how youths born in 1993 understand the language used within the Church of Sweden, by using qualitative and quantitative methods, conducting survey with 76 students at a high school social program, and by performing interviews.
