    Sammanfattning : This bachelor thesis studies a specific recurring trend from the 1990’s, which in this case is exemplified as dungarees, or as more commonly used, overalls. To understand the essence of this trend and why it’s recurring, a semiotic analysis is applied to the study and to understand the qualitative values it houses, such as social practices and structures, as well as signs, codes and symbolism, will be used to concretize the correlation between the actual trend, it’s exposure to society during the 1990’s versus today and also, how and why it's still consumed to this day.     Sammanfattning : Den unge blinde Hans Roland Orgenius hade fått en gedigen musikutbildning på Blindinstitutet Tomteboda när han vid 15 års ålder beslöt att prova på en karriär som jazzpianist. Efter skolan sökte han arbete på Sveriges Radio, där han fick anställning som pianist för att spela i flera radioprogram, ofta tillsammans med sin något äldre kamrat från Tomteboda, Reinhold Svensson.
